The charming bungalow features a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for relaxing evenings after a day of hiking in the picturesque Stykkishólmur region with my close companion. The friendly staff made us feel at home, even providing breakfast items and promptly fixing any equipment issues we encountered. The surrounding natural beauty and easy access to local attractions make Helgafell an ideal base for exploring the wonders of Iceland. I look forward to returning and enjoying the tranquility and warmth of this lovely guesthouse once again.
